Habitat for Humanity

Habitat For Humanity Habitat aims to eliminate substandard housing for qualified families by working in partnership to build simple, affordable homes. First Congregational participates by obtaining work crews and providing financial support. First Congregational has joined in the annual InterFaith Build since 2012 (now named “Faith Build”) in partnership with other Faith groups.

There are numerous options available to interested volunteers such as constructing the home, providing food for volunteers, inventorying and restocking construction trailers or assembling housewarming gifts. All construction duties can be performed by women or men.
